Biography

Megan Pet returned to the SXU family in 2019 after graduating with her Master of Science in nursing and Master of Business Administration in 2008.

Pet earned her bachelor's in nursing at DePaul University in 1994, where she was a member of the track and cross-country teams all four years. She later earned her doctorate with a focus in nursing faculty mentoring from Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in 2016.

Pet has over 11 years of experience teaching in higher education, acting as a student mentor, student advisor, and aiding the accreditation process and curriculum revisions. She also has over 26 years of experience as a registered nurse, working in various medical areas and medical device companies.

Pet is an active member of her community and parish. She resides near campus with her husband and three teenage children.
