Biography
Pamela Abbott has had a career in nursing spanning over 30 years. Her nursing experience includes various areas of nursing, such as cardiac intensive care (CCU), telemetry and post-anesthesia care (PACU), and labor and delivery. She has spent the majority of her career within labor and delivery both as a bedside nurse and in a charge nurse role. She is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetrical and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), and is RNC-OB certified.
Abbott became an adjunct clinical instructor at Saint Xavier University in 2021. She has transitioned to a full-time assistant professorial position in 2022. Abbott has had the pleasure of teaching on-site clinicals, in-person labs and virtual simulations since 2021.
