Biography
Becca Allpow (she/her) serves as the Project Manager in SXU’s University Advancement office, where she oversees a multitude of responsibilities, including managing the processes of scholarships and grants, stewarding the team’s budget, assisting with major gift projects, and ensuring the maintenance of departmental records. She has worked in philanthropy for nearly a decade, most recently as the Philanthropy Program Manager at Kemper, where she coordinated the Kemper Scholars Program, launched and facilitated the Read Conmigo bilingual educator grant, worked with nonprofit partners to facilitate corporate sponsorships and employee volunteer opportunities, and supported the employee donation match and volunteer programs. Prior to joining Kemper, she worked as the Education and Scholarships Manager at the Arizona Community Foundation, where she oversaw the scholarship application process and awarding of over $4.8 million dollars annually through 200 scholarship funds.
Allpow holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois State University, complemented by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Xavier University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner (Nick) and her dog (Toby), going to lots of concerts, and enjoying time with family and friends.
